RESOLUTION 4

October 4, 2015.

  1. Each partner school will try out and evaluate ( see Teacher’s evaluation sheet on the project webpage) at least 2 of the offered teaching activities from each meeting. The minimum number of the activities that have to be tried out during the project is 10, but the partners are free to try out more than 10. One activity will be obligatory to try out.

  1. The 4th teaching/learning activity (C4/ C10) will be on November 29 – December 5, 2015 in Germany on creative methods on peer teaching in different subjects.

  2. Each partner school will create a number of activities on the above mentioned theme. All the parts of the activity (preparation, introduction, evaluation, etc.) will last up to 45 minutes.

  3. There will be a Skype conference on November 16 for the delegations to greet each other.

  4. The German team will send the programme of their meeting by November 22. We will have 2 separate programmes – the students’ programme and the teachers’ programme. Please, send only the final version of the programme

  5. Each participant (including students) should have a copy of the project meeting programme. Project meeting coordinators are responsible to ensure it.

  6. The learning/teaching activities will start not earlier than at 10 o’clock. There will be 2 teaching activities per day with an interval between the activities.

  7. The 1st day (Monday) will be devoted to getting to know each other activities.

  8. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday will be teaching/learning activity days.

  9. Thursday will be a full day sightseeing day organized by the host school.

  10. The farewell party will be organized on Thursday evening after the day trip.

  11. Teachers should be allowed to have free time in Teachers’ room if there is a need. If possible have a separate place for coordinators to discuss things during coordinators’ meeting.

  12. The theme for the international evening in Germany will be “Present the food of your country”. The participants will prepare the food for the international evening in the school kitchen for about 1 hour and then will tell about the prepared food. The way how to do it depends on every school’s imagination The list of the needed ingredients has to be sent to the German team beforehand.

  13. The teaching/ learning activity organizers have to be informed about the special needs students who will participate in the activity.

  14. The taught activities will be video-filmed by the organizers. The material will be placed in the project platform www.erasmusgrobina.lv

  15. Inge will prepare a list of all the participants of the German meeting. The list has to include the dates, the venue, the aim of the activity and the programme. ( See the project website) During the meeting all the participants will sign in the list.

  16. The German team will add a rhyme to the project song and it will be sung during the international evening.

  17. In the receipts coordinators get for project expenses (transportation, food, etc.) where it is possible translation in English is added. Preferably separate receipts should be issued for food, transportation, museums, etc. For some schools receipts for the cash paid need to be added.

  18. Every host country will provide to the guests:

* 1 official dinner for teachers

* 2 lunches for students and teachers

* Transportation of 1 day trip in their country

  1. Coordinators are responsible for accommodating the students in suitable families where there are grown-ups to look after the children.

  2. Teachers participating in the activities are responsible for students’ behaviour during the project meetings. Everybody respects the activities offered by the hosts and each other.

  3. Schools can send no more than 3 students and 4 teachers to the learning/teaching activities. The 4th teacher will cover the expenses himself.

  4. The teachers will get certificates for attending the organized seminar on teaching methods.

  5. During the meeting in Germany the participants will watch a 15 minute long material on the meeting in Greece.

  6. Starting from the Greek meeting each teaching activity will be placed on the project website separately.

  7. Teachers have to be more precise on explaining their created activity applying step by step explanation and adding scanned visuals.

  8. As there were no seminars on teaching methods during the meeting in Turkey and Lithuania, participants will self-study the materials placed on the project website under the title “Seminars for the Teachers”.

  9. In case schools cannot afford to pay the price for the hotel in Hamburg, inform Inge or Eva by October 7.

  10. Indra will upload the template “List of participants” on the project website.

  11. The project coordinators decided to alter the planned activities and have a teachers’ seminar on CLIL theme in Italy but the activities on CLIL method will be shown in Latvia. The theme of the lesson in Italy will be “Creative methods in teaching Humanities”. The theme for the teachers’ seminar in Latvia will be “ How to Motivate Students to learn”.

  12. The arrival date for the Italian meeting is February 14, 2016, departure – February 20.

  13. The arrival date for the Latvian meeting is May 8, 2016, departure – May 14.

  14. The possible theme of the international evening in Italy is “Love”. The final decision will be made in Germany.

  15. Teachers are responsible for the behaviour of ALL the students, not just theirs, and remind students to behave.

  16. Invitations will be sent just to the teachers who work at school, not to the spouses of the teachers who don’t work at school.

  17. Inform Iannis by October 20 about the number of days of the last project meeting in July, 2016.

  18. Send the finalised versions of the lesson plans taught in Greece to Indra by October 20.
